Stanton Learning Center is a non-profit preschool, located in the Stanton Reformed Church in Hunterdon County, NJ. We are running a week of camp in which we provide support to local charities. This event is open to children 2 1/2 - 11 and they will be separated by age. We are looking for leaders to help assist the children with packaging and making the donations as well as implementing the pre-planned curriculum. All materials will be provided. Assistants will also be provided and the Director will be there helping and overseeing There will be an informational meeting for interested parties on Wednesday, 3/27 beginning at 6:30 pm and a 2 hour orientation on Wednesday, 4/17 from 6:30-8:30.
Volunteers are needed from 8:15 am - 12:45 pm each day of camp. Camp will run from 9-12. The cost per child is $15/day of $50 for all 4. All proceeds will be used to support this program. Remaining proceeds will support our next Caring Kids Camp that begins on June 17th. All supplies from this event will be provided through donations.
Below is a brief description of each day. Days will be paired with appropriate lessons and activities that will help children "better understand values of empathy, thoughtfulness and social responsibility." (Doing Good Together)
Our goal is to instill in children the spirit of giving.
Camp Theme: Mindful Bodies; Planting Seeds of Kindness; Connecting our Emotions
Day 1: Make birthday bags for Flemington Food Pantry and cards for terminally ill
Day 2: Make trays of food for Hunterdon Youth Services and SAFE in Hunterdon
Day 3: Make and pack bagged lunches and blankets for SHIP
Day 4: Pack success bags for Good News Home for Woman and Blessing Bags

Description
We are a non-profit preschool, located in and affiliated with the Stanton Reformed church. We offer morning preschool, afternoon preschool recreation, Transitional Kindergarten, extended care as well as before and after care for school aged children. In addition to our education program, we offer service workshops such as Caring Kids Camp and Family Service Nights. We host monthly Kid's Nights, Family Fun Nights and Parent's Nights Out. Our goal is to create a caring, trusting and fulfilling connection to our community as well as foster a healthy school-family connection.
