ORGANIZATION: MEALS on WHEELS CENTRAL TEXAS

We have a need for nurses at Mike's Place, a respite program for older adults with dementia and Alzheimer's. Since we are not a medical respite program, we are not equipped to handle medical emergencies or other medical situations that may arise with our participants. If you or someone you know would be interested in volunteering with us let us know! It is a great and fun program!

We distribute over 3,000 meals every business day to homebound seniors and people with disabilities, and provide other crucial services like in-home care, home repairs, respite care, grocery shopping and delivery, and pet care.
