The Chicago Foundation for Education (CFE) Study Group Coach Grant community review sessions are a fun and interactive application review process that many volunteers consider one of their favorite CFE opportunities.

Each session is in need of 5-6 reviewers, as we would like to see that each application is evaluated by three unique individuals. Scores, comments, and recommendations will be shared with the other volunteer reviewers in a round-table format. Lively conversation-and some snacks!-is guaranteed.

We're in need of volunteers for the following date and times:

Tuesday, February 26th

· Morning Session: 9:30am-12:30pm

· Afternoon Session: 1:30pm-4:30pm

· Evening Session: 5:00pm-7:30pm

Wednesday, February 27th

· Morning Session: 9:30am-12:30pm

· Afternoon Session: 1:30pm-4:30pm

Each Coach mentors a team ("Study Group") of 6-8 teachers ("Team Members") in learning specific teaching strategy or methodology, ultimately guiding them as they implement their focal strategy/methodology with their own students. Team Members will be selected in the spring of 2019 through a separate application process.

To sign up for a Community Review session, visit the online volunteer form: https://www.tfaforms.com/4718430 or email us at cfe@cfegrants.org.
