Hello! We are the Chicago Comedy Film Festival going into our 9th year!
The Chicago Comedy Film Festival is an event where we celebrate independent comedy film from across the globe! In 2016 we hosted Jane Lynch and many on camera and off camera industry names join us every year!
Our volunteers are the heart of the festival. We seek individuals who are professional, fun, friendly, and enjoy being hospitable to our over 200 filmmakers!
This year we are hosting our sister festival as well- Chicago Independent Film +TV Festival - so we will be asking for more volunteers than years past.
The event takes place at these venues throughout the fest:
Columbia College
The Second City
Cards Against Humanity
We have varying duties and shifts that volunteers can sign up for. Once you respond to our Volunteer Match ad someone from our team will reach out to you and discuss our opportunities. Some duties include:
box office, house managing, ushering, hospitality, set up and breakdown.

Description
Chicago Comedy Film Festival began in 2010 and is an annual event committed to fostering comedy filmmakers in a competitive market where comedy is often not validated. CCFF also partners with educational programs that mentor the youth. We strive to support underrepresented demographics in comedy, especially women.
