We are getting excited for the upcoming Running with the Chromies 10K/5K/1 Mile Run/Walk on Saturday, March 9, 2019 at Gemini Springs Park in Debary, FL. This is our annual fundraiser and all the proceeds from this event pay for all the programs/activities we have throughout the year. Welcoming Hearts is a nonprofit 501c3 organization and is a 100% volunteer based.

We need your help to make this event the best it can be. Please consider volunteering with us the day of the event.

Welcoming Hearts mission is to enhance the quality of life for all individuals with special needs by providing information and support to individuals, families, professionals and the community through education and social activities

Description

Welcoming Hearts has a special needs parent support meeting once a month. We also have various functions and events through out the year for families to network. There are also play groups, mom's night out and we are adding more. In 2017 we will be starting a community garden program, finishing our Resource Information Booklet and working to get them in doctors offices for families. We will also be putting together a new parent basket and talking with the local Labor and Delivery departments for them to be given to new parents.
