We are in need of volunteers who want to make a difference, are patient and flexible. By becoming a volunteer for our after-school tutoring program, LEAP Jr., you will be able to become a homework assistant, role model, and mentor to children in your community. We all play a very important role in strengthening our communities to support children and families. One role you can play is to be a volunteer in our after-school tutoring program.
Leap Jr. runs weekly, Monday - Wednesday from 3:30pm-5:00pm.

KidsFirst is a counseling and family resource center that provides family support services. Our mission is to end child abuse and neglect. We have a vision that all children live in a safe, healthy, and nurturing home. We provide families with community resources and engaging programs, strengthening and empowering the families.
What does KidsFirst do?
- Coaches parents experiencing parenting or family challenges
- Enrolls children in low/no-cost health insurance
- Treats children who are victims of abuse or trauma
- Educates the community about how to keep children safe
- Provides information about the services available when difficulties arise
