Big Climb Philly is a one-of-a-kind of event providing opportunity for participants to test themselves as they climb 46 floors of stairs to the top of FMC Tower at Cira Centre South in support of the LLS mission: Cure leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin’s disease and myeloma, and improve the quality of life of patients and their families.
For the 2019 Big Climb Philly, we are looking for volunteers in the 6:00AM-10:30AM and 10:00AM-2:00PM time slots to help with all aspects of the climb, from the time participants check-in and check their bags, helping them prepare for the climb, keeping climbers motivated (and hydrated!) as they climb, and congratulating them for a job well done as they pass through victory lane!

Mission Statement
The mission of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) is: Cure leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin's disease and myeloma, and improve the quality of life of patients and their families.
We work tirelessly to find cures and ensure patients can access the lifesaving treatments they need. When someone experiences the fear and uncertainty of a blood cancer diagnosis, we provide hope, compassion, education and support. Our impact is felt beyond blood cancer. The breakthrough treatments we helped advance for blood cancers are now improving the lives of people affected by many types of cancer.

In 2017, LLS volunteers made a significant impact while selflessly dedicating their time and talent to achieve our mission. With countless ways to engage, from fundraising to providing patient support, our volunteers are changing the landscape of cancer.
The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's Eastern Pennsylvania Chapter serves residents who have been touched by one of the blood cancers: leukemia, lymphoma and myeloma. The chapter serves the Lehigh Valley Region.
