Do you love pets? Love driving? Love meeting new people? Help connect pet owners with the supplies they need to keep their pets happy and healthy!
If you have 2-6 hours per month to spare, and a valid driver's license, you can directly make a difference in someone's life. We need drivers to deliver pet food, dog houses, water bowls, and other supplies to families throughout the KC metro. Too often, families who don't have access to these basic supplies feel their only option is to surrender their beloved pet to a shelter. At SNKC, we're all about keeping pets with the families who love them. Join us to help keep pets in their homes and out of shelters!
Volunteers for this opportunity have a couple of options: Drive your own vehicle, or drive our delivery van (to drive our van, you must have or obtain a Class E license. All volunteers must have a clean driving record and no record of theft, violence, or animal abuse). Volunteers with a Class E license who are approved to drive the van will be added to Spay and Neuter Kansas City's insurance and are expected to drive responsibly and with utmost care at all times. Volunteers driving their own vehicles will be able to log their mileage for tax purposes.
