Bring Support and a Hot Meal Door to Door to Seniors (Marshfield)

Save to Favorites

Aging & Disability Resource Center of Central Wisconsin

  • A group opportunity. Invite your friends.

Deliver a hot meal today. Meals on Wheels in Marshfield is looking for volunteers to help expand the number of homebound older adults that can get meals. We are looking for volunteers that can help out specifically on Tuesdays and Thursdays. If you are available on another day of the week (Monday, Wednesday or Friday), let us know as we are looking for ways to serve more older adults in the community.

We have made changes to the program to respect social distancing to keep our volunteers and program participants safe.

Meals on Wheels volunteers pick up the meal at the Cedar Rail Apartments where the meals are packaged up. Volunteers can help out daily, weekly or monthly. Some volunteers will offer to be "substitute" drivers and fill in when they are able.
Groups are encouraged to apply! Grab some friends or a group from the office or church. Pick a day and route to "adopt" and rotate the driver among your group. This is a great way to make a difference in the community and share the time commitment with a group.

Application and background checks are required. Training is provided. Mileage reimbursement is available.
