Make a difference in the life of an older adult! Meals on Wheels is a program for older adults who are considered homebound or unable to make a healthy meal for themselves.
The ADRC-CW delivers hot meals Monday-Friday, but currently have limited routes available. Help us expand the number of older adults that can get a hot meal delivered! Become a Meals on Wheels Volunteer Driver.
We are specifically looking for volunteers to help on Wednesdays and Fridays.
Groups are encouraged to apply! Grab some friends or a group from the office or church. Pick a day and route to "adopt" and rotate the driver among your group. This is a great way to make a difference in the community and share the time commitment with a group.
Application and background checks are required. Training is provided. Mileage reimbursement is available. A reliable vehicle & clean driving record are also required.
