On March 11th 2020, TAF will host its Varsity Luncheon-Journey to Justice at Amazon Meeting Center-- highlighting our commitment to transforming public education in WA State by equipping students and educators through our award-winning, project-based STEMbyTAF model.

The Varsity Luncheon showcases what it means to equip students with 21st-century education: empowering them to create the world they envision - personally, communally, nationally, and globally.

Who We Are:

TAF is a nonprofit leader redefining Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) education in public schools. We focus on supporting public school districts to use STEM as a tool for realizing social change and educational equality in low income communities and underrepresented communities. Our approach leverages in-school and out-of-school learning to shift the role of education in students’ lives, cultivating leadership in all students toward equity in their community.

TAF approaches inequities in education by promoting collaboration and support in the communities that need it most.

We’re focused on transforming entire classrooms by supporting the existing curriculum with tools and opportunities in STEM, supporting educators to be leaders, and working to diversify and retain the educators in each classroom.

Our mission is building collaborative relationships with public education to create access to transformative systems of learning for students and teachers of color to eliminate race-based disparities in an increasingly diverse society.
