Volunteers assist with the usual functions of a retail operation including visual merchandising, ticketing, inventory, stocking, assisting customers and finalizing sales at the register. Gain retail and customer service skills to place on your resume while helping the community. The Chamber's Gallery Book and Gift Store is an essential part of the Ocean Institute and our revenue. The operation of this area is crucial to our success. Volunteering your time in this position would be a wonderful use of your time in a fun, lively, and fast paced environment.
Volunteers must be age 15 and older for the Chamber’s Gallery Book and Gift Store. There is a 2 shift minimum requirement per month. Shifts are about four hours long.
