MHS Protect-A-Pet Clinics - Service Prep

Save to Favorites

vol 1

Throughout the summer, the Michigan Humane Society holds vaccination clinics for pets in our community. At our Protect-A-Pet Clinics in Detroit and Dearborn we offer low-cost, age-appropriate vaccinations against deadly diseases as well as low-cost micro-chipping for dogs and cats of pet owners in need.

Volunteers working as part of the Service Prep Team will assist staff by using a syringe to draw vaccines to be used by veterinarians. You will not actually administer the vaccine. We do ask that you have prior experience handling syringes (i.e. medical professionals, research professionals, etc.) and have availability on Sundays throughout the summer. You are not required to attend each vaccination clinic, but you are welcome to!

Locations, dates, and times are TBD so let us know today if you are interested in learning more about this opportunity!
