The mission of the St. Louis Arc is to empower people with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families to lead better lives by providing a lifetime of high-quality services, family supports, and advocacy.

*New volunteers must complete paperwork and volunteer orientation prior to starting.


Are you a music lover? Join us for our Ukulele Club! The ukulele is a fun and unique instrument to learn and play. Volunteers will assist program participants in improving their fine motor skills, all while socializing with others and learning a new talent! The club will be lead by a board certified music therapist, who will provide direction for volunteers. No prior experience required!

The St. Louis Arc is a non-profit, United Way agency that provides support and services to more than 4,000 adults and children with intellectual and developmental disabilities, and their families, throughout the St. Louis metropolitan area. It is an affiliated chapter of The Arc of the United States.
