ETS is in need of someone willing to donate their time and talents to plan/organize our events. We hold a handful of events every year. The number of hours required are unknown as of right now, but we will do our best to be flexible with the scheduling.
Position description:

• Plan, create and produce various events and manage all the delivery elements on deadline.
• Research the market and negotiate donations and contracts with providers and other partners.
• Come up with original, imaginative ideas for the event and implement them.
• Organize locations, setting, the list of attendees, and particular requirements about logistic issues.
• Work on event promotion
• Stay proactive and find solutions to any emergency issues that might arise on the day of the event.

Interpersonal Skills. people person, good communication skills, both written and spoken, ability to stay calm under pressure, a problem-solving attitude, and the ability to compromise.

Organization Skills. can handle stress and problems, can come up with imaginative solutions to issues that may arise.

Negotiation Skills. Ability to negotiate with vendors for donations and discounts, conduct research, and take care of a variety of logistic issues.

Management Skills. The event planner must be able to efficiently organize their time in order to gracefully meet any tight deadlines they might have.
