Reach Out is now opening a Greene County Clinic in Yellow Springs. It is currently located in AME Central Chapel on Tuesday evenings from 4:30pm to 7:00pm. Nursing responsibilities include triage/intake in preparation for the medical visit. Understanding Greene County resources is desirable. The nurse sets up the clinic, assist physicians with medical interviews and closes the clinic making sure communication to the main campus of Reach Out in Dayton is completed. Ability to use critical thinking for severity of illness in triage is necessary for safe practice. Liability coverage included in this position. Volunteers are encouraged to assign themselves at least monthly. No holidays. Openness to all medical concerns, religions and health culture practices for the purpose of triage is our mission. Description
Reach Out of Montgomery County is a non-profit safety net organization delivering quality medical care to the uninsured in our community. Reach Out offers comprehensive medical services including multiple evening clinics, access to a charitable pharmacy and case management into primary care medical homes. Reach Out partners with over 8 area universities and colleges to train students in community health. The clinics are staffed with volunteer physicians, nurses, pharmacists, translators and medical students supported by community clerical help.
