This is a volunteer position that allows the individual chosen to gain a variety of rewards such as,
but not limited to; new community relations, experience in non-profit management, and assisting
local youth in reaching their maximum potential. C.M.A. offers quality youth development
programming, creates access to competent and committed role models, and assists members by
providing youth the opportunity and resources to create systems of success at home, school, and
work. Programs currently focus around music, tech workshops, social activism, awareness, drop-
in hours, and needs based community resources.

An ideal candidate for the Board Member position will be able to meet the following
requirements:

- Dedicated to a service frame of mind.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to complete assigned tasks efficiently and skillfully.
- Commitment to attending mandatory meetings.
- Completion of a background check.

The Community Miracles in Action Board is a contributing board. Each member commits to
either soliciting $2,000 in annual sponsorship, volunteering 100 hours annually towards
programming and events, or any combination of the two. Board meetings are held monthly
unless otherwise specified in advance, and the schedule for the meeting will be sent out
quarterly.

Being a part of the Community Miracles in Action team means being a part of a community
program created and run with only one goal in mind; helping our youth to become competent and
well-adjusted adults. All youth have the potential to reach their dreams and C.M.A. is here to
give them the resources and skills to achieve.
