- When you become a FUPI Canine Foster, you are not just fostering a dog, you are saving a dog's life. Fostering a FUPI Dog means you are saving a dog that has been abandoned and/or abused by their owners. Since we do not have a shelter facility, we depend solely on fosters where the dogs will live until they are adopted. The more fosters we have, the more we can save. The fosters will then bring their foster dogs to one of our Petsmart locations for the FUPI Dog Adoption Events on Saturdays and Sundays.
- Being a transporter for our FUPI Dogs includes taking them to their vet appointments and to our FUPI Dog Adoption Events on Saturdays and Sundays. Just let us know which days you can transport, then, if transport is needed, we will coordinate with you ahead of time to transport our awesome rescue animals.

Foreclosed Upon Pets, Inc. (FUPI) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to the rescue of domesticated animals that have been abused and/or abandoned by their owners as a result of economic hardship, including home foreclosure, loss of employment, insufficient income, or death and illness. FUPI will work to further the cause of animal control through the education of the general public about the humane benefits of spay and neuter programs. FUPI will take on a leadership role in developing strategies and creating coalitions with other animal rescue organizations in order to better serve the residential and commercial sectors of the community in the fight against animal cruelty
Foreclosed Upon Pets, Inc. (FUPI) is a dog and cat rescue located in Las Vegas. We were founded in 2008 during the height of the housing crisis, when people were walking away from their homes and their animals. We still get animals from that arena, but also take in owner surrenders, and strays from the street. All animals are checked by our vets, giving all necessary shots, spayed or neutered if needed, and microchipped.
