Hello fellow Volunteer Community!
Your help is needed at this year's Career Development & Economic Empowerment Program for disadvantaged women & men in our Bay Area Communities! Our program begins Saturday, March 7th and runs every Saturday through April 18th from 9am - 4pm.
Join our winning and fun family of volunteers! Come and see what we are all about and how we impact our Bay Area disadvantaged communities!
Opportunities include:
* Facilitating one of our unique curriculum's we still need to fill (Image & Etiquette, Social Media Networking, Finance Management, Introduction to Entrepreneurship, Computer Literacy & Interview Skills)
* Registration
* Resume Writing Assistance
* Mock Interviewers
* Sorting & Organizing of hundreds of suits we will be giving away
* Solicitation of food donations to help feed up to 75 people
* Setup/clean up assistance
* Childsitting - reading stories, arts & crafts for up to 5 kids each week
* Job Fair business solicitation for our exclusive job fair on Sat. April 5th
* Spreading the word through social media outlets!
We ask for a minimum 2 hour commitment. You set your own hours and can volunteer for one or more weeks! Women, men, and kids are all welcome to partake in serving the impoverished communities.

Description
We are a nonprofit 501c3 Corporation providing support services, economic resources, transitional housing, and empowerment to women & children impacted by domestic violence, sexual assault, homelessness, prostitution & human trafficking, and other crippling life experiences. Our organization is built upon uplifting and empowering women from all walks of life, reminding them of their worth and importance in the world. We provide services to over 1000 women and children annually.
