Assisting individual veterans and their families by using the Cal Vet Resource book to help locate qualifying benefits and services. This position is open to those 18 and over and would need to be available for a weekly or monthly shift or a position as an outreach coordinator.
Veteran’s Connect office is open on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays from 10 am to 12 pm and Fridays from 3 pm to 5 pm.
Volunteer Orientation required. All volunteers will undergo a full background check, including Live Scan, paid for by the City of Corona.

Public libraries in California seek to engage the talents, skills and commitment of volunteers to serve the communities' information and literacy needs. Libraries offer a variety of skilled volunteer opportunities to make a meaningful contribution to library programs, operations, fundraising events and other community engagement functions. Skilled volunteers have opportunities to lead projects, work with teams of staff and volunteers, learn new skills, and have fun.
Opportunities to volunteer with Recreation Services in Corona are increasing, and include working at the Senior Center and various other public facilities. We are grateful for our community members who are committed to working with residents to keep them moving and healthy in both mind and body.
