Our veteran services benefits coaches serve as expert listeners and initial problem solvers. They help each veteran or veteran family member by identifying the benefits and services that meet their individual needs.

Benefit coaches will serve as a guide in better understanding the Cal Vet Resource book along with materials provided by CalVet giving patrons the confidence in leaving with the information given to them at the end of the day.

This position requires coaches to sign up at least two hours a week on either Tuesdays, 5:00-7:00 PM or Thursdays, 2:00-4:00 PM.

Description

Public libraries in California seek to engage the talents, skills and commitment of volunteers to serve the communities' information and literacy needs. Libraries offer a variety of skilled volunteer opportunities to make a meaningful contribution to library programs, operations, fundraising events and other community engagement functions. Skilled volunteers have opportunities to lead projects, work with teams of staff and volunteers, learn new skills, and have fun.

Opportunities to volunteer with Recreation Services in Corona are increasing, and include working at the Senior Center and various other public facilities. We are grateful for our community members who are committed to working with residents to keep them moving and healthy in both mind and body.
