Looking for a rewarding and unique service experience like no other? Volunteer at the 25th Anniversary of the Queen's Cup Steeplechase on Saturday, April 25 to benefit the Alzheimer's Association of Western NC. As one of the most anticipated sporting and social events in the Southeast each year, the Queen's Cup Steeplechase is a family-friend event serving a great cause.

Volunteers receive: admission, parking, t-shirt, lunch, and a spectacular day at the races! Volunteers must be at least 16 years old and must attend a training session.

Mission Statement

The Charlotte Steeplechase Foundation, Inc. is a 501©3 non-profit organization that hosts the Queen’s Cup Steeplechase annually on the last Saturday in April in Mineral Springs, NC. Our mission is to raise funds for specific and needy charities in our area while providing the unique opportunity to see professional horseracing in the area. Throughout its fifteen-year history, the Charlotte Steeplechase Association has contributed over $500,000.00 to local charities.

Description

As one of the top 5 sporting events in the region, the Queen’s Cup is the premiere, most anticipated social and sporting event on the Southeast’s calendar. No event in the Charlotte region gives you the experience you get at The Queen’s Cup. With everything from amazing tailgates, fancy hats and bow ties to powerful thoroughbreds galloping over 4’6″ obstacles. The Queen’s Cup is about sport, it’s fashion, it’s a tailgate extravaganza, it’s about friends and family in an annual gathering and it’s about fundraising. It is run by over 300 volunteers and benefits the Alzheimer's Association of Western NC. It is the most unique and rewarding volunteer experience you can have!
