The intern(s) would assist the Event Manager with registering walkers, make calls to past participants, send out mailings and help with other tasks in preparation for the walk events. This is a long-term project that will require someone to come to the office 2 to 3 times a week. The project begins on April 1, 2019, to September 25, 2019.
Lupus is a deadly disease that affects an estimated 1 in 200 people. Events like the lupus walks have helped increase awareness about what lupus is and how it affects certain individuals. The LSI depends on the dedication of our volunteers to succeed. Make a difference in someone’s life and volunteer for the Lupus Society of Illinois today.
If you wish to volunteer or intern for this and/or other positions, please contact Taurean Jackson at taurean@lupusil.org or call him at 312-542-0004.
