Saturday morning fun and games
It's as much fun for the volunteers as it is for the riders!

Volunteers are needed to lead horses for our riders as they participate in their therapeutic riding lessons. All riders have a disability of some sort, but volunteers need not have experience with individuals with disabilities. Instructors will provide clear instructions on how to assist each rider - some riders need just a spotter, others need the leader to be more involved. All leaders must have extensive experience handling horses on the ground in a variety of settings. Adult volunteers must pass a background check. Classes are offered Monday-Thursday evenings from 6-9pm, Tuesday and Saturday mornings from 9am-1pm and Thursday afternoons from 1:30-3:30. Classes are offered year round. Volunteers come once a week and work with the same riders each week.
