The Q Center is working to improve our Information & Referral Program! We're looking for people who have experience with crisis support, phone calls, and iCarol as we need assistance with regular crisis support. Knowledge of iCarol isn't required but at this point in time our crisis referrals rely on iCarol, so training will be necessary. This is a great opportunity for people interested in LGBTQ2SIA+ advocacy, social work, psychology, crisis counseling, and more! We hope to hear from you soon!

Mission Statement
Q Center provides a safe space to support and celebrate LGBTQ diversity, visibility and community building. Q Center is a 501c3 non-profit organization which offers multi-generational programs and services in four core areas: Arts & Culture; Education & Training; Health & Wellness and Advocacy.
Description
The Q Center has been an integral part of the LGBTQ2SIA+ community since 2004. There are 25+ events and groups that meet here at the Q Center. Some are focused on specific topics (e.g. coming out, gender identity, racial equity, social justice) while others are aimed at fun social interactions (e.g. movie showings, pancake brunches, drag bingo). Our affinity groups are run by dedicated volunteer facilitators, keeping the Q Center truly community-driven and accessible. It is thanks to the collaborative efforts of volunteers that the Q Center is able to provide resources every day of the week for nearly every day of the year.
In addition to our program offerings, our 5,000 sq/ft facility is also a safe and friendly place to spend an afternoon. With our monthly art exhibits, extensive library collection, information & referrals, and free WiFi access, there's always something to see and learn here at Q Center.
