ERI's Early Childhood Music-based Language Development Program is seeking a Social Media Coordinator to help network and promote to parents, teachers and clinicians. This online program, also known as "Sing and Speak 4 Kids", uses a clinically tested protocol that has been developed to support young children with autism and other speech delays/disorders. The duties of the Social Media Coordinator include:
- Researching, implementing and maintaining online marketing strategies through social media, including blogging, social networking sites, chat rooms, forums, discussion boards, wikis, RSS feeds, and search platforms.
- Use of Hootsuite or similar social media management platforms that support social network integrations for Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Google+ and YouTube.
- Meet once a week online to discuss strategy, research, planning, implementation, tracking results, etc.
A big plus for this position will be an ongoing interest/experience in one or more of these fields:
Early Childhood development
Autism and other disabilities
Speech-Language development
Music and Music therapy
Neuroscience
Education / Edtech
Parenting / Parent training
Video games for social good
