Providence ElderPlace-PACE(Program for All Inclusive Care for the Elderly) is an innovative program of services for older adults. Providence ElderPlace helps older adults remain as healthy and independent as possible in the community for as long as possible.

In Home Friendly Visitors: The ElderPlace In Home Friendly Visitors program provides one-on-one support to our participants within their living environment outside of the ElderPlace facilities. ElderPlace participants live throughout King County.

This volunteer opportunity is for cat lovers ONLY. This cat loving female participant living in the 98109 zip code requests a volunteer to assist her in cat or kitten visits several times per month.

  • Good listening skills
  • Dependable
  • 18 + years of age

A general new volunteer orientation of two hours is required as well as an in home volunteer orientation for this position.

Description

Providence ElderPlace is an innovative program of health care and social services for older adults. Our model of care is known as PACE (Program of All Inclusive Care for the Elderly).Participants attend the Providence ElderPlace Center on a regular basis, and transportation is provided. The ElderPlace team of health care and social service professionals and our affiliates provide comprehensive integrated care to our participants.
