Are you interested in giving back, in playing forward and making this world a better place, along with getting more than you give? One of the pros in tutoring is that you can make a massive difference to a student's life.

Use your gifts and talents to help children with their homework in Corazón a Corazón's After School Program!

We tutor children in reading and math, allowing some time for fun and games.

3:00pm-5:30pm Monday-Thursday

We ask for a commitment of one to two days per week.

Corazón a Corazón is a grassroots organization sponsored by the School Sisters of Notre Dame that transforms people’s lives through education.

Impelled by the mission of Jesus and enriched by the charism of the School Sisters of Notre Dame, Corazon a Corazon is committed to providing educational assistance to Latinos, especially women and children. While focusing on Latinos, we exclude no one from our concern.

Description

Corazon a Corazon is a non-profit organization that serves the Latino community. We offer one-on-one ESL tutoring for adults and an After-School program for children, both of which are volunteer based. Corazon believes that education is key to advancing and empowering our community.

  • Our After School Program runs from 3:00pm until 5:30pm Monday through Friday. We ask that you volunteer two times per week at a minimum.
  • We ask that our tutors complete a VIRTUS training session prior to volunteering with youth.
