The Lancaster Science Factory is currently recruiting volunteers who love to tinker, make and create for our brand new Makerspace! We will be offering programs led by our Makerspace Educator, Chris Blackmon, as well as drop-in hours on the weekends and Summer Camps.
This would be a great opportunity for a student interested in technology or an adult looking to gain experience working in education. We could also turn this into an internship opportunity if that was something the volunteer was interested in pursuing.
All volunteers must be age 16 and over and volunteers age 18 and over must complete a criminal background check, child abuse clearance, and volunteer orientation before coming in to volunteer.

Description
The Lancaster Science Factory is a hands-on, interactive science center for kids in Pre-K to 8th grade and their families. We are open to the public and available for group reservations and rentals. We host a wide variety of STEM educational programs and workshops and lead STEM educational outreach in our community!
