Travel With Us: Helping In Haiti

The 4North Project provides a very unique and SAFE experience in developing countries around the world. This year, we are seeking 15 volunteers that want to simply give back in Haiti. This is NOT a vacation but an experience. You will be required to travel with us, to better understand the daily challenges these people face with no clean water, no electricity, low food supplies and limited education. You will be assigned a project that falls under one of our four pillars; education, sustainability, empowerment and/ or security.

This year’s areas include the following projects:

• Education (Classroom Lessons)
• -S.T.E.A.M. (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math) Includes Mural and Canvas Painting
• -Skills For Living
• -Team Building

• Sustainability (Construction, Food Supply)
• -Chicken Coop - PVC Pipe

• Empowerment (Performing Arts, Concert)
• 
  Security (Non Medical Eye Exams)
  
  

We have been working around the clock traveling, coordinating, scheduling and scouting to make this a safe and extraordinary experience for everyone involved. So today we are proud to announce, to the future volunteers, that it’s time to make this vision a reality!!!


Some of us have already locked in our airfare and the "All Inclusive" package. If you have any questions, please contact Matt Gewirtz directly at (989) 737-2878. We will be meeting to go over the final details, procedures and logistics at a later date.

The "All Inclusive" package includes the following:

• -Safe airport transfer to and from the village
• -Drivers and fuel
• -Translators
• -Safety Personnel
• -Accommodations (THIS IS NOT A 5 STAR VACATION, BUT AN EXPERIENCE)
• -3 Meals Daily (Menu will be discussed at a later time)
• -Project Funding
• -Tours
• -Final Hotel? (We are working on securing a hotel so people can freshen up on the last day before the flight home, no promises... sorry)

As a final cost, you will be required to have a few vaccines before you enter the country. Some insurances cover this and some do not. Check with your doctor. (Typhoid, Hep A, Tetanus and Malaria)
