Front Desk Volunteer - free acupuncture

We are looking for a few good eggs to join our front desk team! Our current open shift is every other Thursday 11-3pm. We ask for a three month commitment and if it is a good fit, you are very welcome to volunteer longer. In exchange, you receive a discount on herbs and free acupuncture treatments -- 1 treatment for every 2 hours, which can be shared with others. Start date is flexible.

Front deskers are integral to helping things go smoothly for practitioners and patients by booking appointments, processing payments, handling new patient paperwork and maintaining communication with practitioners. It can be an easy, fun, rewarding experience. Sometimes it is fast paced, sometimes there is lots of downtime.

We need people to be punctual and give us as much advance notice as possible if they need coverage for their shift. If you think you will need coverage for a lot of your shifts, this might not be a good fit. We ask for a commitment of three months and request that you consider your ability to keep this commitment seriously before deciding to train with us. If you do not complete the three month commitment you do not get to keep and use your accumulated trades.

Training is approximately two hours during an actual shift. It is entirely hands-on, fast paced and gives you all the information you will need in order to successfully work your next shift alone. Please let us know if you have some questions.
