Community Builder Ambassador works throughout the year with our participant’s through various activities and tasks to ensure community is a success for those recently homeless or housed!
Transitioning into housing is extremely challenging for people, and often creates isolation. We need your help to realize our vision of a world without isolation and homelessness.
Together with The Center staff you will help our participants by giving them the confidence they need to succeed by being an intentional presence for people to get back on their feet.

Mission Statement
Our mission is to be an organization devoted to healing and centered on individual wellness and community, to be an advocate for those in Hollywood without shelter, and to lead and collaborate with others to develop and implement solutions that lead to resilience and housing. We believe that providing someone a home is not enough without the support of an inclusive community. Every day we provide a safe and encouraging space for those experiencing homelessness on our streets. The Center’s staff creates and sustains an environment where participants are encouraged to thrive and flourish through groups and community engagement. The Center has become a hub of leadership in the fight to end chronic homelessness in Los Angeles.
Description
* We believe that providing a welcoming, safe and healing community is a first step to ending isolation and creating opportunities for future housing.
* We are committed to remaining a trauma informed center that engenders trust, safety, consistent boundaries, and a place where individuals can make their own decisions about program participation and housing.
* We accept and work with our participants wherever they are in their lives.
* We believe in treating all people with dignity, respect and an understanding that we are part of one community.
* We are committed to collaboration to accomplish our mission because no single agency can solve isolation and homelessness.
* We believe that an integrated approach will be most successful in meeting the needs of a diverse homeless population.
