Join the mission at Space Center Houston!

Space Center Houston has a number of exciting opportunities and events this fall and we want you to be a part of them! We're seeking volunteers to help in a number of areas, including:

  • Education programs
  • Greeting guests and special visitors
  • Daytime and evening special events
  • Sharing information about the past, present, and future of the space program with our guests
  • Special events, like Galaxy Frights (Oct.) and Galaxy Lights (Nov. - Jan.)

The Manned Space Flight Education Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit educational foundation offering extensive science education programs and a space museum.   • Orientation or Training
  • Adult volunteers are asked to commit to 60 hours annually.
  • Volunteers are asked to attend an in-person interview. If selected, will be asked to pay a $50 one-time fee to help defer the cost of the background check, shirt, and badge.
