Care Association is 100% volunteers and is making progress toward building truly affordable homes; that is, homes with a cost that a person earning minimum wage can afford.
We are developing a workshop program to teach people building skills.
The executive director is looking for a right-hand person to help manage the team and a project.
We are also looking for people experienced in building trades to:
- Consult on building projects
- Build a curriculum for our workshop program
- Teach a workshop
We also need help with:
- Copywriting Google ads
- Engagement with the public and other agencies through social media
- Volunteer management
- Content creation
- Writing and/or editing blog posts that reach an audience of wide socioeconomic range following SEO guidelines
- Work with marketing
At this time, we are especially looking for administrative help and people who are veterans of building trades. Please share!

About CARE ASSOCIATION
1951 Page Street, San Francisco, CA 94117, US
Care Association plans, develops, and implements innovative strategies to alleviate economic burdens on lower- and middle-income households. We serve households in the United States that pay more than 30% of their gross income on housing or are transient because of lack of affordable housing. With the Care For Us web platform, we aim first to establish connections between households that are unable to compete in inflated real estate markets and homeowners who prefer to offer housing on their own terms. Secondly, we aim to connect and offer goods and services to those in need. Thirdly, we curate information and provide links to resources to inspire and enrich users’ experience.
Care Association is focused on alleviating the economic burdens of low- and middle-income households by creating truly affordable housing. We are currently in the development process of an accessory dwelling unit that will be deeded affordable in Marin County, and provide a prototype for housing that has a low materials cost.
