1st Annual Greenwood Lake Winter Carnival hosted by the Greenwood Lake Chamber of Commerce!

Volunteers are needed to help run our games and competitions! The following activities are scheduled:

Hockey Puck Shot, Snowman Ring Toss, Snowball Target Toss, Corn Hole, Tug of War, and More! There will be four competitions throughout the two days (for both adults and children), and Tavern Olympics (members from local businesses competing in teams). There is a heated tent for Kid's Arts and Crafts and a heated tent for vendors and entertainment. Weather permitting there will be ice-skating, and snow tubing.

Greenwood Lake Winter Carnival 2020
The Greenwood Lake Winter Carnival is a community and family motivated two-day event hosted by the Greenwood Lake Chamber of Commerce. The purpose of the event is to create an entertainment and vendor driven weekend of fun, games, food, and winter activities highlighting the beauty of Greenwood Lake, NY.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Must be at least 14
  • Orientation or Training
  • Volunteer shifts can run anywhere from 2 to 8 hours.
  • Volunteering at the winter carnival requires volunteers to be active, either standing or walking for a minimum of 2 hours. Volunteers must be willing to work outdoors in winter-like weather.
