We are seeking one to two people who will work closely with the Chief Advancement Officer and Advancement Team to create an affinity group (young professionals under the age of 40). We will initially brainstorm, and create a plan to develop an audience for a FUN and CREATIVE fundraising event. In 2019 our goals are to partner with us on the following:
- Help us create a founding group.
- Create a name for the group we will be forming (of young professionals).
- Attend or participate in a minimum of two fundraising events in 2019. These experiences will help to shape and inspire what the young professionals can create.
- Receive a tour of Camp Korey (Mt. Vernon) In the first 30 days.
- The majority of planning meetings will be held in our Lynnwood office (parking is free). Once the group is recruited we anticipate this may change.
- Recruit young professionals from a four county area: King; Snohomish; Skagit; and Whatcom counties who want to serve on the planning committee. Each Committee member will have a a role (to be determined what it is).
- Help Identify guests who are influencers in the social media channels; Facebook; You Tube; Twitter; Instagram; etc.
- Take responsibility for supporting quality documentation so that this effort can build and grow.

Camp Korey's mission is to honor the courage, strength and determination of children and their families living with life-altering medical conditions by providing them with a transformational experience in a fun, safe camp environment with specialized medical support.
Description
Camp Korey offers children and families an escape from the endless medical treatments that have overshadowed childhood. Campers grow stronger, braver, and build leadership skills that they take into their everyday lives. Our campers have reported an increase in self-esteem, confidence and resilience, along with a network of friends and support to help them through the tough times. We work with a dedicated team of medical professionals and program facilitators to create a medically safe camp adventure. Camp is always free to campers and their families, thanks to our volunteers, donors and supporters.
