If you'd like to be involved with something happening all around the nation, volunteer for our Great Backyard Bird Count, a global event hosted by the Cornell Lab of Ornithology and The National Audubon Society. This event lets our guests become citizen scientists for the day. The festival at River Legacy Living Science Center is Saturday, February 15, 2020. Activities include bird counting, guided bird walks, and a variety of other family-friendly activities such as owl pellets investigation, migration challenge, story time, and much much more! Volunteers will be instructing the children on how to complete these activities. Lunch will be provided since this is an all day event.
