AACCA, founded in 1951, is an educational, non-profit organization providing professional live entertainment to the community in the new Severna Park High School auditorium. In 1994 we were designated as a 501 (c)(3) organization, and we have been administered throughout by an all-volunteer board of directors along with additional volunteers. We are grateful to each one of them. Program costs are paid through subscriptions, ticket sales, donations, and grants from the Maryland State Arts Council, funded by the state of Maryland and the National Endowment for the Arts, and also by the Arts Council of Anne Arundel County.

We are seeking additional volunteer members to serve on our Board of Directors. Some of the things that one could expect from being on the AACCA Board of Directors includes (but not limited to):
Meeting approx 4 times per year as a Board to discuss the Association business
Reviewing artists and meeting as a Board to discuss and vote on acts for a concert season
Attending concert events (approx 5 per year)
Promoting the AACCA, and trying to increase membership and increase awareness of the association to the community
