The Longmont Department of Public Safety is seeking individuals to become Volunteer Victim Advocates!
Victim Advocates provide on-scene support and services to victims of crime and/or traumatic situations. Advocates provide crisis intervention, information, resources and referrals to victims and witnesses. All advocates are required to complete Victim Advocate Training (no cost) prior to responding to any calls. They will also receiving ongoing training from staff and fellow volunteers.

Applications for spring training (April 12-30, 2022) are due by Friday, April 1, 2022 by 12 PM.

- We ask that volunteers commit to at least 1 year of service. The current requirement is 3-4 shifts per month.
- Applicants must live within the Longmont city limits (or within 20 minutes of Longmont). No previous experience needed.
