Is food and friendship important in your life?
Our memory care units are seeking compassionate, understanding people to participate in a regularly occurring dining assistance volunteer program.
Eating together and socializing is an important aspect of our lives which does not go away with age. Having a regular meal with a friend can be the highlight of your week. We are looking for people to commit to a regular meal during the week to spend with one or two of our residents who need assistance with their meals. Breakfast, lunch, or dinner-whatever fits your schedule. No food preparation or clean up duties required, just come to chat with a new friend and help them to eat in the way that is best for them.
This volunteer position requires a dining-specific training which will be provided during our brief orientation to give you the tools you need to succeed in your position.
