We are looking for a group who is interested in giving our family room suite a much needed makeover. If your group likes to decorate, this is a great opportunity for you. Our family suite is used when mothers living with us have overnight visits with their children. We want to beautify the space which includes a large bedroom, play area and bathroom.
Volunteers will come to our Ascension Place site to receive a tour and see the family suite space. Then the volunteers will use their creativity and decorating skills to makeover the space into a warm and welcoming space for families.
Volunteers will shop for, purchase and donate all the items needed to redecorate the space. Items that will be needed include floor lamps, table lamps, night stands, artwork, sheets, comforters, and decorative pillows.

Description
Haven Housing offers innovative and successful programs for homeless women and children. Ascension Place is a transitional housing program for 32 women. We provide supportive housing, nutritious meals, case management, educational activities and other programming designed to help our clients move towards independent living.
St. Anne's Place is a shelter for homeless women and their children. Our small size allows us to work closely with families to ensure that they are getting the help they need to both address the issues that have led to their crisis and to move towards independent living.
