Organize, inspect, and clean incoming merchandise! The ReStore in Hanover County sells new and used donated materials at a discounted rate. All proceeds help build affordable homes and make critical repairs in Hanover and King William Counties.
Tasks include inspecting donations, cleaning and pricing incoming items, straightening and cleaning displays, and providing assistance to customers.
Volunteers must be at least 18 years old. This is a great way to give back to your community, and support Habitat's mission!
When: Monday through Saturday, weekly, 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
We ask for at least a 4-hour shift commitment of either 9:00 a.m -1:00 p.m or 1:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Feel free to visit www.hkwhabitat.org to learn more and find available shifts. Anyone working hours for court, pre-court, or school must contact Amanda Gunter before signing up and working hours. (we do not accept charges that are violent or sexual in nature or theft-related)

Hanover and King William Habitat for Humanity is a locally run, independent affiliate of Habitat International and is responsible for Hanover and King William Counties. For over 30 years, they built homes alongside families who pay an affordable mortgage. Habitat’s repair program addresses critical repairs around the home. With their help, and the help of the community, Habitat homeowners achieve the strength, stability, and independence they need to build a better life for themselves and their families.
