At Gentiva Hospice, we are all about providing support and care not only for our patients, but their loved ones too. Our Volunteers play a huge part in providing this support.

In Bastrop, we have a patient lives by herself and would love for someone to come visit with her occasionally! After orientation, you will call the patient to make a schedule together of when you will visit.

Volunteers are "friendly visitors." Our Volunteers do not provide any direct medical care (bathing, dressing, feeding, transferring, giving medications). No previous experience needed. You just need a kind and compassionate heart!

Orientation is required and will be scheduled around your busy schedule..
