Have fun, do good, and get involved! Join the Green Redmond Partnership at Hartman Park for a fun morning of helping the forest and this great park. We’ll be removing invasive weeds to make room for trees and native plants to thrive.
There is something for everyone! We will be finishing up a restored area of park, to knock back some emerging blackberry brambles that threaten to crowd out new plantings. We will be removing some easy planting tags as well that need to come off.Volunteers of all ages and experience levels welcome.
If you are 15 or under, please bring a responsible adult with you. Students and adults can earn service hours. We provide gloves, tools, and training. Friends and family members are welcome but please RSVP for all members of your party to help us plan for a great event.

Mission Statement
Forterra's mission is to act with immediacy to protect, enhance and steward our region's most precious resources--its communities and its landscapes. Since 1989, we have been working toward a future in which our children and grandchildren can experience nature in and around our urban environments.
Description
Forterra conserves land by working with individuals, companies and local governments. We strive to maximize the ecological value of land, while meeting the needs of landowners. We may accept land as a donation, purchase it, or transfer it to public ownership. We often serve as a broker to identify and negotiate the most effective ownership to protect important lands. We establish conservation easements to preserve special features. For each and every property, we explore available strategies or create new ones to provide permanent protection. Forterra has established a Conservation Agenda for our region, with specific priorities and methods for each type of landscape. Current initiatives include the protection of working forests on the foothills of the Cascades, and the creation of salmon sanctuaries along our region's highest quality rivers and streams.
