The Garden celebrates Earth Day 2019 with an event that will support guests on the path to living a more sustainable and earth friendly lifestyle. Family crafts, educational activities, live music, lawn games and a spring nature hike are all part of the fun. On Saturday March 13, the Garden will undertake a large volunteer effort for trail maintenance and invasive species removal from 9:30-12:00 followed by a hot dog picnic for all volunteers. Volunteers will work with garden staff to learn about invasive species and proper removal techniques as well as participate in the maintenance of the beautiful woodland trails that surround the garden.

Description
Daniel Stowe Botanical Garden, the Carolinas’ Garden for All Seasons, provides guests a chance to reconnect with nature.
