Homestead Hospice is looking for Veterans Affairs volunteers, these are volunteers who can assist our veteran patients to reminisce about their service, reflect on their service in a positive way, obtain their VA benefits, obtain pinning ceremony and honor ceremonies and plan veteran-specific burial ceremonies.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a veteran, an active military member, a military family member, or supporter of the armed forces to give back to veterans who fought in WWII, Korea and Vietnam.
To begin we provide a hospice and veteran-specific orientation, we require a TB test and drug screen provided free of cost by Homestead Hospice.
For all military members active and retired, we thank you greatly for your service!
