Help keep hands and feet warm this winter!
Many local families are unable to afford gloves and mittens and warm socks for their kids...or for themselves.
It’s amazing how often one mitten or sock will get lost. FamilyWise serves hundreds families with annual incomes under $20,000. Please help them get winter wear they need for their fingers and toes.
Please donate any of the following items (new or very gently used- Adult and Child sizes):
- Warm mittens & gloves
- Mitten clips
- Socks
Drop off at our main office and our staff will distribute to families throughout the community! FamilyWise is at 3036 University Ave SE, Minneapolis, MN 55414 and open Monday through Friday 9am-5pm.

FamilyWise is a local nonprofit that helps our community’s most vulnerable children and families. Many of these families come to us with a history of poverty, domestic violence and homelessness. Your volunteering and financial support helps break this cycle of despair and gives them hope for a better future.
Our goal is to promote social change by strengthening families and the community through programs that:
- Educate parents on skills needed to lead stable lives and provide safe homes for their children.
- Empower families to achieve self-sufficiency and to advocate for themselves and their children.
- Enrich the lives of children, youth and families, enabling them to lead healthy, productive family lifestyles.
