The Southern California Children's Museum is looking for volunteers to interact with guests throughout our museum! From engaging in play-based activities within our exhibits, to helping keep the museum floor clean and orderly, SCCM Play Facilitators help create a welcoming, fun environment for kids and their caregivers at the museum. We are looking for enthusiastic people who have experience working with young children, or would like to gain some experience!

Southern California Children's Museum's mission is to cultivate a child's wonder, stimulate curiosity, and motivate learning through interactive exhibits, creative experiences and dramatic play, all while promoting the diverse cultures of Southern California.
Description
We are an emerging museum in the Pasadena area that is looking to grow its volunteer force! The Southern California Children's Museum (SCCM) focuses on play-based activities and experiences for kids ages 0-7, with an emphasis on toddlers. Our museum is based on open-ended play, and we are looking for volunteers eager to foster curiosity and create engaged play-based experiences for our visitors. SCCM also offers drop-in activities throughout the week, as well as one-day events such as our annual Touch-A-Truck event.
