Walk to Defeat ALS
Walk to Defeat ALS

The ALS Association Evergreen Chapter would love your help!!

The Spokane Walk to Defeat ALS is a one day fundraiser (8am-1pm) which raises money to support local people living with ALS and their families.

This is a fairly easy event to set up and tear down. Set up includes putting up 4-5 canopies, 10-15 tables, chairs, registration, t shirt table, and trail direction signage. Volunteers will help direct participants through registration or help with registration, hand out t shirts, snacks, water and clean up after the event. We have lite breakfast items, coffee, water included for all volunteers.

The ALS Association Evergreen Chapter serves local ALS patients by providing durable medical equipment, respite grants, support groups, information seminars, advocacy, in home visits by our care coordinators, assistive technology support and research - free of charge. We rely heavily on our fundraisers to provide these services. 87% of money raised, stays here and goes toward services for ALS patients in the Spokane/CDA metropolitan area.
