We are in need of volunteers to help run our concession stands at the 2019 NBA All-Star Game at the Spectrum Center. This is a fundraising effort to provide housing for our homeless veterans. This event will start at 8 PM, but we will need to arrive earlier at 5 PM. My name is Peri, I am the Volunteer Coordinator, you can call/text me or email me: gulperi.salman@gmail.com (704) 733-8220. Please sign up if you are interested in doing this more than once a month, we have to pay for the background check & alcohol training. If you can contact me, I can send you info for the background check & alcohol training. If you can contact Peri, or sign up on this website that would be great. Looking forward to hearing from you! You just have to be over 18, we will provide training there for you.

Mission Statement
The mission of Carolinas Hierarchy of Needs is to provide affordable supportive housing and resources to individuals so that they may become independent. Our programs are designed for chronically homeless people specifically Veterans, disengaged youth, and individuals with special needs. The goal of CHON is to partner with local, state, and national agencies and organizations to provide the best evidenced based practices for an effective transitional pathway to success and a better quality of life. The services include holistic, collaborative approaches that address the needs of the individual: affordable housing, medical home care, supportive services, educational and career resources and health-care management.

CHON connects people with resources to help them build strong foundations for themselves and their families such as employnment opportunities, health care and housing.

- The event starts at 8PM, but please arrive at 5 PM to check in, help set up, get oriented. We will stop after 3rd quarter, or an hour before the event ends
- Need to have background check & alcohol training, if you haven't done that at the Spectrum Center in the last 5 years. Please contact me for that.
