The Northern California & Northern Nevada Chapter of the Alzheimer's Association is active on many social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and Twitter. We feature regular coverage on our events, including California Advocacy Day, the Walk to End Alzheimer's, community forums, and more. We're currently looking for a volunteer videographer to help shoot and edit footage at these events to create short, videos to feaure on our various platforms.
If you have experience with shooting and editing video and would like to donate a few hours a month to helping us create exciting, interactive content for our viewers, then this is the opportunity for you!
Events happen throughout the eight county region our office serves: Sacramento, Placer, Yolo, Stanislaus, San Joaquin, El Dorado, Amador, and Nevada.

The Alzheimer's Association is the leading, global voluntary health organization in Alzheimer's care and support, and the largest private, nonprofit funder of Alzheimer's research. Our office is part of the Northern California & Northern Nevada Chapter. We enhance care and support for those affected by Alzheimer's disease and other dementias, fund research to find a cure/treatment, and advocate at the federal, state and local levels for research, prevention and care initiatives.
