California Arbor Week - Valley Hi Park Tree Planting: Join Councilmember Rick Jennings and Parks Commissioner Devin Lavelle for a tree planting in Valley Hi Park to celebrate California Arbor Week on Saturday, March 9 th from 9 am to 1 pm. Volunteers are needed to help spruce up our parks! Equipment provided by the Sacramento Tree Foundation. Snacks provided by Commissioner Lavelle. All we need is you! Wear sunscreen and appropriate clothing. Minimum age to volunteer is 14, minimum age to volunteer with an adult is 3. RSVP requested to parks@devinlavelle.com or call (916) 808-7192.
